MANOLI MORIATY & FRANCES-KAY PRESENT ‘SYMBIOSIS’: Composer, performer, researcher and co-founder of the art collective Metanast, Manoli Moriaty presents “Symbiosis’ with Frances Kay, a performance artist who explores the effect of performance on the body and mind, using many disciplines such as endurance, duration and self-inflicted pain, whose strong visually aesthetic work explores social issues of feminism, religion and personal suffering. In ‘Symbiosis’, the performers become interconnected through motion sensors and tactile devices in relations that range from mutualistic to parasitic.
