A-BOUND FESTIVAL

A national collaboration of unorthodox music and interactive arts events

For this special five-day series of events, Fat Out hand-picked collaborators known for their daring and forward-thinking programming: Now Wave (Manchester), Cacophonous Sarcophagus (Bristol), Optimo Music (Glasgow), High Hoops (London / Manchester), and Supernormal Festival (Oxford) showcasing a diverse and original line-up of artists abound against various edges of the musical spectrum. Through the shared experience of the festival all the promoters and performers are bound by their uncompromising vision, boundary pushing, and the unique space that is Islington Mill. We are collectively A-Bound.

Alongside the music events, the A-Bound artist residency of critically acclaimed sound-artist Helmut Lemke's Sounds of Walls (The Surplus Value of Sound no. 28) will transform the Islington Mill entrace hall and gallery space for the duration of the festival.

A-Bound Festival is the inaugural event of 'Phase Two' of Fat Out's two-year programming residency at Islington Mill, Salford.
