UBRE BLANCA

Ubre Blanca are a Glasgow-based synth-heavy horror-prog-electro band. Featuring ex-members of Divorce and Shitdisco, they formed in 2012, inspired by their mutual love of the synthesizer-based soundtracks of John Carpenter, the pulsing electronic disco of Giorgio Moroder, the exploratory, atmospheric synth-prog-soundtracks of Claudio Simonetti, Tangerine Dream and Goblin, plus contemporary synth-based acts like Zombi and Umberto. Ubre Blanca aim to create dystopian disco music that reflects their twin ambitions of producing evocative synthetic soundscapes as well as propulsive, rhythm-heavy dancefloor workouts.

Ubre Blanca have so far released three 12" EPs, with their most recent, entitled "The Sadist", released by the esteemed Giallo Disco Records. They've shared stages with the likes of Zombie Zombie, Molly Nilsson, Ela Orleans, Antoni Maiovvi, Babe and Umberto. Their debut full length album is forthcomng on the Giallo Disco label.
