Kim Irwin is passionate about great tasting, nutritious vegetarian food. and have spent the last 10 years working in a commercial veggie food environment, from local co-ops, restaurants, to big festival catering gigs like Glastonbury.
Since 2010 she has been been based here at Islington Mill and have instigated food projects such as The Engine House cafe, Kims healthy food takeaway ready meal service, pop up gourmet evenings and pop up kitchens in the Courtyard.
I've catered weddings, parties, corporate events and currently focus my time teaching all the skills I have accquired as part of the Cracking Good Food Team based in South Manchester.
Things to expect from Kims 'fat out pop up' include:
Spicy snax
Homemade cakes, think lemon drizzle, date n walnut, double choccy
One pot stews with trimmings
Mexican quesadillas
Egyptian falafel
Teas & coffee
And other stuff to tempt and delight….
For the carnivores: she will be sourcing some decent sausages from a nice Butchers to be served on Barbakan buns with lashings of chutney.
Think Bratwurst, think super yummy!!
